Howdy folks! It’s been so long since I’ve posted a blog. In fact my last post was right around the time I was apartment hunting which was almost two months ago. I was so stressed out and tired I couldn’t even think about blogging. But, after a treacherous three month search I am happy to announce I have found the perfect place for me and this Thursday (the 16th) will mark my one month move-in anniversary.

Though I have not been blogging, I have been cooking. A lot! And, lucky for you, I’ve been keeping a pretty good photo journal of all the delicious meals I’ve prepared. This week’s recipe is a Vegetable Medley with Chicken Spinach Sausage from Ozabe’s Money Saver’s Meats market in South Los Angeles. S/N: If you’re ever in the LA area, you wanna stop by and give Ozabe’s sausages a try. They are delish! AND while you are there, be sure to grab some veggies to go with your sausage from the Garden of Oz planted by Mr. Ron Finley and the kids at RootDown LA. Ok, back to the food! This recipe is quick, easy and healthy. Perfect for the summer, especially with the recent heat waves we’ve been getting. Give it a try. Click here for the recipe.
