Cabbage, Sausage, Potato Stew with Gaia Goodness Banana Mango Ketchup

Head of cabbage sliced thinly

14 oz. Smoked sausage (I used Portuguese Linguiça sausage) cut in rounds

½ red onion sliced

6 medium red potatoes chopped course

2 cloves garlic chopped

1 5oz jar of Gaia Goodness Banana Mango Ketchup

½ tsp Nutmeg

½ tsp Allspice

1 tsp Cumin

1 tsp Chili powder

1 tsp 21 Salute Seasoning from Trader Joe’s

1 tsp dried Dill

1 tsp Red pepper flakes or 4 dried chiles ground

1 tsp Black pepper

1 Tbsp Sea Salt

2 Tbsp Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

2 Tbsp Olive Oil to coat Crock Pot

3 Tbsp Hot Sauce

1/2 cup water or beer

Pour oil in bottom of crock pot dish. Layer in potatoes, cabbage, onions, spices, seasonings, vinegar, and hot sauce. Add the sausage on top, pour water or beer over the top. Cover with lid and turn the crock pot on low. Cook for 7-8 hours or until potatoes are tender. At the 4 hour mark, stir in the Gaia Goodness Banana Mango ketchup and put the lid back on. Cook for the remaining 3-4 hours. Turn off the crock pot and allow to cool for about 10 minutes. Enjoy!
